Acoustic night continues at Baker'sThe acoustic songwriters' night that I run in Stockport on the third Monday of every month has settled in well since moving back to the Baker's Vaults on the market place. The next one takes place on May 18th, starting soon after 8.30 pm. MySpace hits 3,000 playsOn August 4th (2008) my MySpace site recorded the 3,000th playing of one of my songs. Glass Slippers was the first song to hit 1,000 individual plays, having broken away from Perfect Stranger and Be Willing To Shine, even though the site plays them randomly. Now it's May 2009 and I'm watching it tick closer towards 4,000 . . . Click here or on the MySpace logo on the right to go to my page and hear the songs. Shameless in the Radio ShedAlthough the Stereo Graffiti Radio Show is no longer with us (see below) I recently made a guest appearance on its successor, the Radio Shed, which meant that they finally had to play one of my songs! You can download the show, which is called Shameless, from the Radio Shed site. Stereo Graffiti podcastsThe Stereo Graffiti Radio Show is no more, which is a shame. The podcast has now been taken over by the Radio Shed team, but all the Stereo Graffiti shows including the ones with me as guest presenter are still available to download. My last one was Show 35, released on February 9, 2007. You can also hear songs of mine played by other guest presenters on shows 1, 4, 6, 7, 11, 12, 17, 24, 30 and 32. You can subscribe to the show at iTunes or download it direct from the Radio Shed site. Mac users can also now listen to the show through a Widget that plays the podcast straight from your desktop. Click here to download the Widget and get listening! |
